Tyaisha Blount-Dillon

Our History

Tyaisha Blount-Dillon holds a Master of Science in BioSystems Engineering Technology and serves as the Founder and Executive Director of The Thriving Brain & Development Project Inc. A distinguished Parkinson’s Research Advocate and devoted mother. She brings both professional expertise and personal resilience to her work. After enduring 13 years of misdiagnosis before receiving a Young Onset Parkinson’s Disease (YOPD) diagnosis, Tyaisha transformed her journey into a lifelong mission: ensuring that no woman or child endures the consequences of misdiagnosis, food insecurity, or exclusion from critical health interventions and information.

Our Vision

To build a world where no woman or child bears the burden of negligence resulting from delayed diagnosis. We are committed to advancing equitable access to timely healthcare, fostering environments where every individual is empowered with the knowledge, resources, and support necessary to lead healthy, fulfilling lives.

Our Team

Together, Taci and Tyaisha form a dynamic partnership driven by shared purpose and complementary strengths. With Taci’s expertise in culinary wellness and Tyaisha’s leadership in brain health advocacy, they create a powerful synergy dedicated to advancing community health, education, and equity. Their collaboration is rooted in a mutual commitment to ensuring that no individual is left behind — delivering innovative, life-affirming programs that address both the science of nutrition and the critical need for early diagnosis and inclusive healthcare solutions.
